AB In  elective  cases  where  stoma  creation  is  planned,  patients  should  be  seen  by  enterostomal  nurses  for  ostomy  marking  and  preoperative  education.  In  an  emergency  situation,  or  if  the  stoma  creation  wasn’t  anticipated  preoperatively,  consider  following  a  few  simple  rules.
