AB FIGURE  112-28Cryptococcal  pneumonia  presenting  as  right  middle  lobe  lesions  (one  of  which  is  cavitary)  2  and  a  half  years  after  kidney  transplantation.  Patient  was  initially  prescribed  antibiotics  for  a  presumed  community  acquired  pneumonia.  Because  of  worsening  symptoms,  he  was  hospitalized,  a  diagnosis  made,  and  treatment  instituted  in  association  with  minimization  of  immunosuppression.
