Kidney transplant recipient was having a normal urine output. A Duplex Doppler ultrasound was obtained as a routine study. Note the systolic and diastolic flow in the main renal and segmental arteries (Figures 112-258 and 112-259). There is visible flow in the entire kidney (Figure 112-260). The renal vein shows adequate flow (Figure 112-261). Although normal RI (resistive index) are usually considered be 0.55, a higher resistive index (0.85 in this case) is not unusual, especially in instances of deceased donor organs, can be monitored closely, and does not by itself represent a pathologic finding.Graphic Jump LocationView Full Size||Download Slide (.ppt) SN - PB - McGraw Hill CY - New York, NY Y2 - 2024/03/28 UR - accesssurgery.mhmedical.com/content.aspx?aid=1194189658 ER -
